Containing 50 different countries, Europe is the worlds second smallest continent. Within its boundaries are enormous amounts of culture, history, foods, people and natural landmarks. Although I have seen only a handful of what Europe has to offer, I am continually blown away by the diversity that it has to offer. One must only travel a matter of a few hours to arrive into an entirely new culture, each with its unique scent. Here you will find collections of just a few places that I have seen of the whole of the European continent.
In November 2011 I left Zurich on a journey accross land that would take me all the way to Bangkok, transiting through Germany, Belarus, Russia, all the way through Siberia, down to Mongolia, into China, hopped the border by motorbike into Laos, and finally into Thailand, where i caught a flight from Bangkok to Melbourne. In total it took 22 days, and cost a little more than a flight. In total there were 10 full days on a train. What a trip! I can definitely recommend it to anyone who is curious about this part of the world.
